He is Professor of Art History at the Berlin University. Image quality. image size. color. page clarity , period coverage, all excellent ...great work!!It is only my opinion but I think too many of the enlarged images were not the best choices, the quality of the long shots were good and of nice size, I think they would have been better off covering more frescoes , and not have wasted a lot of pages on some really poor choices for close ups, again only my opinion, I have every recent book on Italian Frescoes so I have some basis for my opinion.
